About the Competition

The competition welcomes innovative ideas and products related to the fields of communication, media, and language studies. Participants are encouraged to showcase creative, impactful, and practical innovations that contribute to society, education, industry, or digital communication development.

Eligibility

  1. The competition is open to all students from any academic discipline. However, the submitted innovation must be within the field of Communication.
  2. Participation is open to all primary and secondary school students, as well as students from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), regardless of their institution.
  3. The group leader must be a student from any field of study. Group members may come from any academic discipline and may consist of students, lecturers, or professionals. Participation is therefore not limited to students only.
  4. Participation may be individual or in groups. Each group may consist of a maximum of five members.
  5. Participants may submit multiple entries, either individually or in groups, with different roles and responsibilities. There is no limit to the number of submissions, provided that each entry presents a different innovation.
  6. Members of the organizing committee (ICIC) are allowed to participate in the competition, but only as group members in teams led by students. However, any committee member who participates will automatically be disqualified from acting as a judge, regardless of their qualifications.Note: Participation by primary and secondary school students will not be recorded or awarded any PAJSK marks.

Competition Categories
Participants may choose one of the following categories:

Innovation Product

 Innovation Idea

Participants may present a completed innovation product, prototype,application,
campaign, media content, or any other creative communication and media innovation.
Innovation ideas must be presented in the form of either:

  • a physical poster explained through video presentation, or
  • a digital poster with a clear explanation.

Important Note for Innovators Participating in the Innovation Idea Category:

The structure of the full paper may include, but is not limited to, the following sections: introduction, problem statement, objectives, methodology, description of innovation, discussion, and conclusion. Participants may adjust the subtopics according to the suitability of their innovation project. For innovation ideas, the discussion may focus on the proposed concept, its potential development, and the expected impact or future implementation if the idea is later developed into a product or practical innovation.

Judging and Announcement

  1. The decision of the judges is final, and no appeals will be entertained.
  2. Winners will be announced online on 15 September 2026 during a live programme featuring the winners’ announcement and innovation talk sessions. The exact time will be announced later.
  3. E-certificates will be sent to the winners via email.
