19 June 2026 – We are thrilled and incredibly honored to share that the groundbreaking work happening across Malaysian public universities including right here at the Faculty of Leadership and Management (FKP), USIM has been officially featured on Google’s global blog, The Keyword.
This feature highlights how public universities in Malaysia are empowering nearly 600,000 students and 75,000 faculty members by integrating Google AI tools into teaching, learning, and research.
At FKP, we are proud to be at the forefront of this digital transformation, pushing the boundaries of AI in higher education to nurture future-ready leaders.
Led by Dr. Kartini Kamaruzzaman, FKP USIM has pioneered the implementation of advanced AI tools by integrating NotebookLM directly into the curriculum for students of the AEN1223 Introduction to New Media Communications course. In an incredible milestone, the students’ task was even evaluated directly by the industry team at Google! This initiative underscores our faculty’s commitment to producing AI-literate graduates who are ready to lead the future of the new media industry.
